    Hey guys,
Last Sunday I went down to Rocky Springs Bowling Alley for a tournament and I figured that while i was down there that I'd investigate what's left of Rocky Springs Park.

The park closed in the early to mid 1980's and was famous for it's Wildcat roller coaster. Click here for the photos of my trip and what I discovered. It was a really interesting experience.

I may also head out to the PA Farm Show next week so expect possibly another Trip Report next week.

That was a nice little trip report! Wink
I agree with you that it wouldn't tkae much to fix the cars up, and even some of the stands and buildings. It doesn't look too dilapidated after being abandoned for that many years, which is surprising to me. From the pictures you took, especially the popcorn stand, it looks like some of the original details are still there and haven't been destroyed.
Very nice report, and it was interesting to see what the place looks like today. Smile

It's very interesting to see how that looks after all those years. I think it slightly weird you can just walk around the abandodned amusment park and thats it hasn't been demolished because they obviously don't use anything there anymore.

I'm surprised that coaster train has been sitting there that long. I'm surprised they don't open a mini museum there and have artifacts and similar items on display.

From what you saw, does it look like they are trying to keep the area at least a little decent, as in they aren't just abandoning it and letting it rot?
