Sound like we've been to pretty much the same places.

As for you ChiefRedskin89, whatever one of those parks you may go to, they're all worth the trip. Wink

They sure are! I hope I'm able to go to Cedar Point in the next year or so, I want to say I can add some great coasters to my list. Smile

My recent experience at Kings Island has surpassed my last visit greatly. Thus, I have moved the park up in my top favorites list.

When was your last visit? Oh, and is it worth making the drive to get there? I was planning on going next year, or to some other parks.. Smile

If you are planning a visit to Kings Island, by all means, go! The coasters there are very impressive and excellent. Firehawk was my first flying coaster and the experience was smooth and very intense. More intense than Millennium Force and even Maverick. I'll post more about it later when I eventually get my PTR up. Overall, Kings Island is a very good park and should definitely be rated more than it probably is (other than having one of the best kids' areas around). Cedar Point is definitely way over-rated. Alex even mentioned that and even like Kings Island a bit more (and so did my parents). So, again, go there if you are planning on heading that way next year. It's well worth the money for what you get!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. It doesn't seem like too much of a hassle to go out there, and I checked up on the park and it looks nice. Cedar Point looks fun too, though it is a drive to get out. It does look kind of overrated, like what Great Adventure is to me. KI might be in the trip plans in the future.

Yeah, I don't travel out of the tri-state area except to Niagara Falls. Smile

I'd like to get a little something new in my list, liek the parks you have. I'm surprised with all the times I've been to PA I've never been to many of the parks on your list...

To Fanatic, definitely head out to Kings Island. Sure it's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it, like I already said.

I think my recent vacation had to be one of the best in quite awhile when it comes to riding coasters.

There's no doubt that I will get a trip in to KI this year or next year on my mind. I will be looking forward to it. Cool

Diamondback is really smooth. You can't feel the splashdown unless you're in the back seat. I rode it in the front seat. You get THE commanding view from up there.

The Beast IS THE best wooden roller coaster that was ever built! With a ride time around five minutes and being back in the woods, that's what makes the ride so famous. I've ridden it twice (in 1999 and this past Monday). I thought my second ride was way better than the first (but then I wasn't the coaster fanatic that I am now ten years ago - lol).

I would go there just for the Beast! I have heard they have great coasters and atmosphere, atop everything else. I've also watched many POV's and things like that, and they look great. I'll be going sometime in the future, maybe a early summer thing next year.
