Hershey gets ready for Christmas

I was in Hershey last Thursday (Nov. 4th)to see Toy Story On Ice and noticed that the park is starting to get ready for Christmas.

Great update Austen! By the way, what are those on the path by Tram Circle (last photo)?

^Lanterns or miniature drums? I didn't see them there today.

I stopped by today and pretty much saw the same thing as you did except the cherrypicker is farther back on that path. I should have several photos up of my stop by sunday night.

Can't wait to see those! I have a feeling we'll be seeing some new things in the forms of light displays this year. Those candy cane figures look new. The lollipops were there before. They might be investing more since there weren't any new rides to invest money with.

We've been decorating the rides for the past two weeks.

Were you going into the park or just stoping by chocolate world???

I'm a little behind on my Christmas decorating but I see HP isn't wasting any time!

I'll be there today! Getting my Season Pass as well (technically my parents are getting it for me for Christmas but they wanted to do it today instead of online so I can have my photo ID taken right there without having to make another trip). Also planning on getting video footage for the site as well with my HD camcorder.

Just got back from the park. The place was dead. Everything was walk-ons. Kissing Tower shut down around 6ish and that was about it as far as ride closures. Got plenty of pics and video for the site. Will have a PTR up this week sometime.
