I had off of work today so I walked down the street to Subway for lunch, then checked out the Hershey Lodge.
One of the first details I've noticed was the numerous artworks of the park.
This is a three piece that shows the whole skyline of the park. I think this one makes Storm Runner and Fahrenheit look too much like one coaster.
None the less, it was really cool looking.
Grr, give me some candy.
The atmosphere was AMAZING in my opinion. A lot of great detail and it felt really cozy.
The gift shop was kind of like a mini Chocolate World, a Hersheypark gift shop and normal gift shop all rolled into one. They even sold some park trading pins not found at the park. Same thing with some of the park gifts.
Really cozy and if I didn't live nearby, I would love to stay here.
The Cocoa Beanery was a coffee shop that felt like the Cafe Zooka. They had some awesome ice cream. This flavor is frozen dirt, which was chocolate Italian ice cream with crushed Oreos and gummy worms.
The fireplace is considered the focus-point for the lobby.
Lebbie was Milton Hershey's business friend and helped him with the town and factory.
.The menu. I'm guessing they only sell breakfast?
The check-in entrance was stunning.
Got myself a car magnet in the gift shop. Too bad I don't remember seeing these over at the park.
Here is one of the pins that you can't find over at the park that I bought. That's it for this update. Expect another one when I visit the Hotel Hershey sometime soon.
