Keystone Thrills 2012 Kings Dominion & BGW Bus Trip???

This has been an idea that's been tossed around several times at the last two meet-ups. Here's what we've been thinking. Would you guys be willing to do a trip to Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2012?
Right we plan on taking a van with a minimum of 15 people starting up here, travel down to Kings Dominion for the first day, stay overnight in a hotel, then go to Kings Dominion the next day and return that night.
We are also thinking about doing an add-on the day before the trip at Hersheypark that way we can ride SkyRush as well. This stop might not be included in the total trip cost.
The price is still being considered, but the more that we have partisapate, the cheaper the price. It would include transportation, gas, lodging, and park admission.
As for the date, we are thinking on doing the trip in early August (possibly July 30th to 31st or August 6th to 7th).

We are also working on more of the details, but would you guys be interested?? Feel free to give us suggestions, or comments! They are greatly welcome!

After some more discussion amongst some of us on the Keystone Thrills Facebook group, it looks like our best option would be to carpool as well as the option to either visit just Kings Dominion OR both Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. We'll keep everyone here informed on the latest developments.

I think carpooling would be the best option. Mainly because of someone(like me) wants to do only one of the parks instead of two. And also car pooling would avoid hotel fees if the person only wants to do one of the parks. Think about it. IF you would choose a 2 day bus trip. Many people(like myself) would not go because they only want to do one of the parks. That would raise the cost to the few people and then cause a chain reaction making a trip impossible. If you want the trip to go through(I sure as heck do) carpooling would be the only flexible solution. For those who do want a hotel, there is a Best Western on Kings Dominion property.

That's why we have one of two options, people who want to do just KD would pay for that with no room, and who want to do both would pay for both parks as well as cost for a room.

There's also a chance we might be a trip to Kennywood too. It would be slightly cheaper than the first one and will be another option for those who want to partisapate on a KT trip.

As long as we can fill one vehicle with people (4 to 5 people most likely) the likeliness of these trips happening is pretty good.
